This version of Shahnameh, whose paintings were drawn by the most renowned painters of the 10th century AH at the royal workshops in Tabriz, includes celebrated artists such as Sultan Mohammad, Abdol-Aziz, Aqa Mirak, Abdol-Vahab Sheikhzadeh, Mr. Mosavvar, Qasem Ali, Doust Mohammad, Mirza Ali, Mozaffar Ali, and Mir Seyed Ali, and can be considered their finest masterpieces. In the post-revolutionary era, the remaining pages of this version of Shahnameh, comprising 118 paintings and the related gold-inlaid cover, as well as manuscripts measuring 47.5 × 32 cm, were recovered in early summer 1994 and are kept at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.
