The Crane (Dorna) Carpet The crane rug is woven in the dimensions of 100 x 150 cm with a vegetable dyeing with a Persian or asymmetric knot. The design of the rug is in all-over style wherein the crane is pointed out as a symbol of peace and freedom in the world, infusing a feeling of calm by her son in a garden full of flowers. On the corners of this rug, ivy flowers with lotus leaves surround the garden, giving this area a beautiful setting. This rug is woven in two sizes of 100*150 and 70 * 125 cm and all of its motifs are hand embossed by hand to accentuate the theme. The weaving time of this rug 8 months and a period of 4 months of embossment using completely handcrafted tools and various scissors.
