This work is part of a collection of 40 pieces, each showcasing the delicate balance between nature and art, meticulously crafted on wood from the Qajar period. Over the course of three years, I devoted myself to capturing the symbiotic beauty of flowers and birds, creating a series that celebrates the timeless connection between flora and fauna.
In this piece, soft pastel tones dominate the composition. Large, blooming flowers are rendered in warm creams and soft pinks, juxtaposed against deep, forest greens, evoking the feeling of an intimate, natural garden scene. A small bird, tenderly perched on a delicate branch, adds a sense of tranquility and life to the arrangement. The wood's natural grain, aged by time, adds texture and depth to the background, making each detail of the leaves and petals stand out vividly. The combination of vibrant yet gentle hues brings a harmonious blend to the artwork, celebrating the ephemeral beauty of nature.
